Singalong Songs for Healthy Child Development

I haven’t been able to perform live for kids in weeks. I teach over zoom, which is better than nothing, but it’s not the same. I miss eye contact and sound that doesn’t buffer. I’m feeling for the children whose birthday parties have been cancelled or postponed, and trying to think of socially distant ways to make them smile during this time.

“Everyone at the Roslindale Village Farmers market had an amazing time with Marcie. She brought so much energy and excitement to the event! Even in a very large outdoor space like ours, she drew a huge group of people, and every person in the crowd was completely absorbed in the performance. Five stars for Marcie!”

Panelist – No Small Matter

Marcie was recently a panelist at Lesley University for a discussion following the Documentary Film Presentation: No Small Matter. This event event was co-facilitated by the Early Childhood Directors of Cambridge and Somerville Public Schools in Massachusetts. Marcie represented teachers in the area on the topic of best practice for connecting with students in an early childhood setting amid the crisis of lack of funding and resources. Circle of Hope- Raising Kids To Give Back

Marcie was honored to be part of the Circle of Hope event yesterday, showing kids of all ages that they can use their time and talents to help those who are experiencing homelessness.  “At Full Circle, each child receives a “Passport of Giving” and moves through different stations, completing activities meant to help homeless adults and kids in Boston and Metro West.”  It was fun to share a booth with Dan’s Balloons!
