Kid’s Music by Marcie at Roslindale Farmer’s Market

farmersmarketThe Roslindale Village Main Street Farmers’ Market  takes place rain or shine every Saturday from 9 am – 1:30 pm, kicking off June 7 and running through November 22nd, featuring weekly live music and children’s entertainment.

All children’s entertainment will start at 10am, and all live music will start at 11am.  Be sure to check out the occasional special events we have lined up in addition to our regular entertainment!  Enjoy!

Marcie will be entertaining at 10am!

Beat Academy Summer Camp Songwriting Seminar

Attention Middle Schoolers! Marcie will be teaching a songwriting seminar this week for the Mmmmaven DJ Summer Camp. Learn to mix & make music and get your feet wet with cutting edge technology. Ages 10 – 14.

Mmmaven Project is a Boston-based future music academy. The Harvard of House. From DJing to Music Production.

Family Fun Night- Free!

Marcie will perform a FREE show on Thursday, May 29th at Family Fun Night. This event is put on by Smart From The Start, Boston- a family support, community engagement, & school readiness program that has as its mission to prevent the achievement gap among Bostonʼs lowest income children.

YMCA Healthy Kids Day

10298880_10152102489092939_5526373114955483084_nThe Charlestown YMCA on Saturday will hold a free event meant to inspire children to keep their minds and bodies active.

The event will feature arts and crafts, sports clinics and discussions on diabetes prevention awareness as well as a fire truck visit, among other features.

The event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Charlestown YMCA, 150 Third Ave., in Charlestown.

The event is part of the organization’s national initiative to improve families’ health and well-being and will also aim to teach families how to develop a healthy routine at home, according to the Charlestown Patriot-Bridge.
