This class is all about the mess! We will explore your child’s introduction to creativity with sand, water, play dough and more! We will paint with textured objects and other different, unconventional, non-toxic materials. Your little one will also participate in circle time at the beginning and end of class. Messy Munchkins is all about being creative and making a big mess that YOU don’t have to clean up.

Featured Party Theme of June: Pirate Party!
Pirate Party: Arrr! All ye scallywags climb aboard and sail the open seas for treasure! Captain Marcie The Pirate will lead the song and dance filled adventure! (Pirate Marcie is not a scary pirate, but on her adventures, her crew shows great bravery!) Face paint and/or craft included upon request.
Keeping Busy After School!
A glimpse of Marcie’s project based after school enrichment curriculum from this week (K-3). Learning about natural resources and making animals to gather around a waterhole, constructing homemade kites through trial and error, and turning ourselves into bugs after a rousing discussion about how ants cooperate to build bridges, tunnels, and rafts.
(Above Left) We had an invasion of red ants, pollen eating bees, and some winged creatures!
(Above Right) Flying in a video game is easy….Now let’s get something homemade off the ground!
(Above) Literacy Connection: The Water Hole by Graeme Base, and some non-fiction resources. All this made in 45 minutes!
What a creative group!
