Hello! I hope you are having a great summer. I’m working hard implementing Arts In The Park programming in Cambridge, teaching Musical Theater/Drama classes at Summer Scene in Framingham and Messy Munchkins Art in Charlestown, and performing all over at festivals, birthday parties, camps, and daycares. If I haven’t seen you yet this summer, I hope I’ll catch you at an upcoming class or show! Read More….

Join Marcie as she teaches summer Drama & Musical Theater classes at Summer Scene!
Messy Munchkins Art Class (ages 18mths – 4yrs) at Babycakes of Charlestown
This class is all about the mess! We will explore your child’s introduction to creativity with sand, water, play dough and more! We will paint with textured objects and other different, unconventional, non-toxic materials. Your little one will also participate in circle time at the beginning and end of class. Messy Munchkins is all about being creative and making a big mess that YOU don’t have to clean up.
*Please make sure you and your little one wear clothing that can get messy. Smocks provided.*
Cambridge Arts In The Park– Sponsored by The City of Cambridge.
A glimpse of Marcie’s project based after school enrichment curriculum from this week (K-3). Learning about natural resources and making animals to gather around a waterhole, constructing homemade kites through trial and error, and turning ourselves into bugs after a rousing discussion about how ants cooperate to build bridges, tunnels, and rafts.
(Above Left) We had an invasion of red ants, pollen eating bees, and some winged creatures!
(Above Right) Flying in a video game is easy….Now let’s get something homemade off the ground!
(Above) Literacy Connection: The Water Hole by Graeme Base, and some non-fiction resources. All this made in 45 minutes!
What a creative group!
Henry Bear’s Park & Kids Music By Marcie present Fun Fridays in Brookline! Every Friday in February features interactive activities for families @ 5pm. Relax in Henry Bear’s inspiring space with Stories, Crafts, Songs and Games in Brookline Village!
Glub glub! We explored the ocean deep in Messy Munchkin Art Class with sensory bins and a fish craft. Then we swam underneath the parachute’s waves! The following week we played with magnet and sponge letters in our sensory bins, and crafted the first letters of our names into textured noodle and cereal masterpieces!
Messy Munchkins brought the North End into BabyCakes of Charlestown today!
We washed veggies, crafted spaghetti and tried not to sneeze! On Halloween, we had an icky spooky Messy Munchkin Art Class, with bins of bugs and brains. We made spider webs, built a haunted house, and read a funny halloween story.
